I am now in my 20th week of pregnancy, and I had an appointment to see an OB in Saskatoon on Tuesday. She is new to me, but I was much happier with her than I was with the one that I had seen in Prince Albert who didn't even know what a pump was, and actually thought that this was going to make my pregnancy more difficult. My numbers have been very good, but I have noticed them creeping up. The diabetes pregnancy clinic assures me that this is normal in this stage of pregnancy, and that it is due to changes that are going on with the baby. So for now we make adjustments to my rates and dosages about once a week as I communicate with the clinic over the phone. I also had my ultrasound yesterday, and no, I did not find out what I am having. Grandma Schellenberg thought that I was just not telling her, but I really didn't find out.
Work is busy too, with us being just about to April. The taxes are piling up, and I have still got some "priority" (my bosses words) jobs on my desk that must be finished up. He did hire a new girl this week, so it is nice to have someone to share the work load with for now.

Swimming Cowboys?
Nadine commented that it was hard to believe that we have skiing cowboys, how about swimming cowboys? That is what we did the next day. Bernie's dad is staying at Parkland in Melfort, for respite, while Mary goes away for a few days, so we all went swimming and brought him along to watch. I think that he slept most of the time, but that was okay, because I kept waking him to point out what the kids were doing now, or who was going down the slide etc etc. This is what cowboys do when they go to the pool, either that or sit in the hot tub, because that water is cold you know.
When we went to pick Russel up at Parkland, we stopped in the front and Maria and Bernie went in to get their dad. Cache, Rudy Otto and I were in the van and Cache asked what we were doing there. I told him that we were picking up Grandpa and had to explain that he was staying there while grandma went away for a few days. Cache said "Oh, so they have guns." I wasn't too sure what he meant by that so I said "WHAT?" He said "you know, to protect the grandpas." Rudy shook his head and told Cache "No Cache, they look after grandpa, they give him lunch and supper and give him his medicine." The whole thing was so funny. Russel got a kick out of it when he got into the van.
Now Cache is sitting here so patiently he wants to type something so here it is... CACHE and he typed that all by himself. He is a boy of the new millennium, because he can't write it with a pencil yet, but he can do that.

Skiing at Wapiti
Cache has been going to the hill occasionally with Auntie Bonnie and the kids, but he wanted his dad to take him so that they could go up the chair lift. We started him out on the tow rope hill, and we couldn't believe how good he was. So when Bernie took him to the top on the chair lift he really enjoyed it.
I just showed Cache the picture of him and Granpa Ariss on Grandpa's BLOG and Cache said, "Mom, I miss Grandpa". I thought that was so sweet that I would post it here in case my dad ever looks at my blog.

HELP I CAN'T POST TO MY BLOG!!!
When you can see what you have done, then go to the top corner and sign in. I think that your sign in name (if it's the same as mine) will be your e-mail address, and then whatever password you picked. By the way you are probably a new blogger too, just like me, because we have set these up at roughly the same time.
Then there is a box that appears that has a green plus sign in the left bottom corner that says post. This is where you can add a post. This is where you will say something like...
"To my favorite daughter Amber,
Even though we are half a world away from you, my thoughts (and your mother's too) are with you as always. We miss you and your bright ray of sunshine personality, and your charming wit... etc etc etc."
Then when you have made a post, people who visit your blog can comment on it and say something like...
"Oh Revrand,
I am so glad to hear that you are all well, and it is a funny coincidence, but we are always thinking of your daughter also... etc, etc, etc."
Then when you are in the Compose screen there is a little icon that looks like a picture, and you click on that and it is how you add pictures to your post. Like this... Neat hey. For the record that is my husband and his brother team roping. Well, I think that you are well on your way to having a great time, and letting us keep in touch with you while you are away.

Getting Started
First time
I have decided to set up a blog!!
My mom and dad and my little sister are going on a trip to Malasia and I told him that it would be nice if he would set up a blog so that we can keep track of them while they are gone.
So in order to help him out I decided to set up my own and see how it works so that I can help him along with it.
See dad, I did learn something in school. and now I have even added a picture for your viewing enjoyment. I still can't believe that Louis was dumb enough to be caught holding that ball.
